A hybrid neurosurgical procedure at MGM Malar Hospital successfully removed a large brain tumour in a woman, preventing further neurological deterioration and potential paralysis. The nine-hour procedure was conducted in two stages. First, a cathlab endovascular intervention blocked the tumour’s blood supply, reducing the risk of heavy bleeding.
