The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for the Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, and Thrissur districts on Friday (September 26, 2025).It has predicted thunderstorms with light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by surface wind speeds reaching up to 40 km per hour.
