The Maharashtra Public Health Department is set to form a State-level committee for the effective implementation of the leprosy eradication programme in the State. ICICI Lombard Life Insurance profit after tax (PAT) increased 28.7% to ₹747 crore on increase in gross direct premiums in Q1 of FY26. GDPI increased 0.6% to ₹7,735 crore in the period under review.  ICICI Prudential Life insurance’s PAT came in at ₹302 crore, a 34.2% growth in the quarter under review, as against the same period last year.
