In a further boost to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the headline retail inflation rate, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), fell to an eight-year low of 1.55 per cent in July, data released on Tuesday by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) showed.
