Kangana Ranaut and Swara Bhasker may have starkly different political ideologies, and this has led to sharp exchanges between them on social media. In a recent interaction, Swara’s husband, Fahad Ahmad, shocked Swara when he called the Queen actor a “bad politician.”

During a conversation with Filmygyan, the couple was asked to assign hashtags to celebrities. When Kangana’s name came up, Fahad, who is a member of the political party NCP(SP), responded, “I can’t comment on her because she is a bad politician, but I will say #BadPolitician.”
Swara looked at Fahad in surprise, but he went on to explain, “Because [of the] flood affected Mandi region (Kangana is a Lok Sabha MP from Mandi) but despite being an MP, she kept saying, ‘What can I do? I am not the Prime Minister. I’m not a Minister.’ A representative’s job is to talk to the government. She should have fought for special funds and gone beyond political vote.” He did, however, praise her acting, adding, “She is a really good actor and I really like her as an actor, but she is a very bad politician.”
Swara, on the other hand, had a different perspective. She said, “I will say #Destiny’sChild. There is something very admirable about her and her journey and #NeverGiveUp, I don’t think she gives up in life.”
Fahad then quickly recalled the time Kangana congratulated the couple on their wedding. He shared, “They used to talk about differences between Swara and Kangana but during our wedding, she wrote a nice message about us, stating that we look very compatible with each other and all.” However, he stuck to his earlier stance, reiterating, “But #BadPolitician.” Swara, visibly disapproving of Fahad repeating the remark, stared at him and said, “Pachas bar maat bol (Don’t say it 50 times).”
Notably, after Swara and Fahad tied the knot in 2023, Kangana had taken to X to congratulate them. She wrote, “You both look happy and blessed. That’s God’s Grace … marriages happen in the hearts rest all are formalities.”
