- 01Robinson’s Discord chatAccording to Utah Governor Spencer Cox, Discord messages reviewed by investigators indicated Robinson engraved writings on bullets he used and that the rifle and scope he used were unique. Investigators spoke to Robinson’s roommate, who showed them comments Robinson had made on Discord, a chat platform, discussing retrieving a rifle from a drop point and then leaving the rifle in a bush wrapped in a towel. This matched the description of the gun that authorities recovered after the shooting in a wooded area near campus.
- 02Inscription on bullet casingsAmmunition found at the scene had been inscribed. One of the messages on the casing read: “What’s this;” “Oh, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao;” “If you read this, you are gay, LMAO;” and “Hey fascist, catch!.”
- 03Robinson’s vehicleCox also confirmed that the grey Dodge Challenger, in which the shooting suspect was seen arriving at Utah Valley University and leaving after the murder, belonged to Robinson.
- 04Wearing the same dressThe suspect was wearing a plain maroon T-shirt, light-coloured shorts and a black hat with a white logo, when he was fleeing after the murder.
When Washington County investigators approached the suspect on Thursday, he was wearing a similar outfit.
