Sony launches new ULT Power Sound range of party and portable speakers

Sony on Tuesday (August 12, 2025) launched the second-generation lineup of ULT Power Sound series featuring wireless party speakers ULT Tower 9 and ULT Tower 9AC along with wireless Bluetooth speakers ULT Field 5 and ULT Field 3 and a wireless dual mic ULT Mic 1 in India.

The ULT Tower comes in two versions: Tower 9 and 9AC. Each packed with ULT Power Sound, selectable bass modes (ULT1 and ULT2), 360° Party Sound and 360° Party Light.

The new Tower speakers have built-in handle and casters for portability, a water-resistant top panel and a built-in power bank. They come with sound field optimisation that adjusts to ambient noise and can connect up to 100 compatible speakers through Party Connect.

The ULT Tower claims 25 hour battery life with quick charging.

The ULT Field 5 is a compact speaker packed with IP67 waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof design. It has ULT Power Sound and 10 band custom equaliser and claims up to 25 hours of battery life.

It too has sound field optimisation with multi device connection between two devices for music control. Users can connect up to 100 compatible speakers via Party Connect.

Sony ULT Fiedl 3v offers up to 24 hours of battery life, a multi-way strap, and an IP67-rated water and dust-resistant build, 10 band custom equaliser, sound field optimisation, multi device connection. Up to 100 compatible speakers can be connected using Party Connect.

ULT Mic 1 claims up to 20 hours of mic playtime and comes with fast charging that gives 120 minutes in 10 minutes and USB charging.

The new ULT Power Sound products are available across Sony retail stores, major electronic stores and other e-commerce portals in India.
