Intermediate found dead in Nellore

An Intermediate girl student studying at a private junior college was found dead in her hostel room in Nellore on Sunday. The girl hailed from Rasapalyam of Satyavedu mandal in Tirupati district. Her roommates informed the college management, who in turn alerted the police. The reason for the death is yet to be known.

Citing ‘harassment’ as the reason for the extreme step, the girl’s parents rushed to the college and demanded an explanation from the college management. A brief commotion was witnessed as the enraged relatives and student union leaders damaged the furniture.

Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. A case has been registered.
